Job Description
As Restaurant Manager you are responsible for the daily operation of our restaurant at the Courtyard by Marriott Amsterdam Arena Atlas.
  • You will manage the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
  • You will lead and coordinate the F&B team, ensuring clear task distribution and an efficient service flow.
  • You will provide visible, hands-on leadership during operating hours, supporting staff through active participation.
  • You will take care of the hiring process – reviewing candidates, inviting for the interviews and executing them and sending offers request to People & Culture Department.
  • You will foster a learning-oriented work environment by coaching team members through “learning by doing.”
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with regular guests and key partners, supporting long-term loyalty.
  • You will train and motivate employees so that they handle alcohol responsibly, HACCP standards and serve according to agreed service procedures.
  • You will monitor and control beverage costs and purchasing, ensuring effective inventory management and alignment with financial targets
  • You will support the budgeting process by contributing to the development of revenue targets, cost forecasts, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning.
  • You will participate in regular safety and security walk rounds, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
  • You will serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) on a rotating basis, acting as a senior contact point for all departments during assigned shifts.

  • Extensive experience in leading positions within hotel, restaurant, or meeting business.
  • Broad knowledge and a passion of F&B
  • Proficient user of MS Office and hotel and restaurant systems.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch/other language is a plus
  • International experience and training are an advantage.
