Senses is a dynamic and intimate fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Amsterdam, featuring an open kitchen where culinary art is created every day. As a proud member of JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs, Senses is recognized as one of the top fine dining restaurants in the Netherlands.We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor who not only guides our guests on an unforgettable food and wine journey but also plays a key role in leading our hospitality team.
Job Requirements
Your RoleAs Restaurant Supervisor, you ensure that every guest leaves with a truly memorable experience. You combine your wine expertise with strong leadership skills, helping to elevate both our team and the guest experience at Senses.Daily Responsibilities:
- Creating, managing, and presenting the wine list and wine pairings that complement our seasonal menu.
- Advising and informing guests about wines, and providing exceptional wine service.
- Supervising, coaching, and inspiring the service team; leading by example in hospitality.
- Assisting with staff scheduling and coordinating the daily operations.
- Working hands-on as host/hostess: welcoming guests and ensuring top-level service.
- Collaborating closely with the Chef and management team to evaluate and continuously improve quality and guest experience.
What We Expect From You:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fine dining restaurant.
- Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role within hospitality.
- Fluent in Dutch or English (spoken and written).
- Living in or near the Amsterdam area.
- A positive, energetic personality who thrives in hospitality and motivates others.
