Senior Sales Engineer (Marine Engineering)

As a Sales Engineer, you will have a lot of responsibility. You will creatively solve customer problems and maintain close contact with them. In this commercial role, you will also focus on expanding your network by actively approaching potential new customers through various channels and proactively thinking about how to expand those channels.
This organization, located in the Netherlands, is a key player on an international level when it comes to automation and navigation in the maritime industry. They serve as a manufacturer of electric propulsion, automation, and develop their own PLCs, all of which are produced in-house. While the headquarters are based in Netherlands (Zuid-Holland), they have branches worldwide in various countries across the globe. This organization is active on an international basis, therefore Non-Dutch speakers are also allowed for the position. However, you need to be open and willing to learn the Dutch language when accepting the position. It is also a requirement that you have proven experience in a role as a Sales Engineer or as a Proposal Engineer.
Requirements:
- A completed study in a technical field
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in the English language
- Willingness to learn Dutch
