INK Hotel Amsterdam – MGallery is een luxury lifestyle hotel dat haar naam dankt aan de historie van het pand. Als voormalig hoofdkantoor van de krant ‘De Tijd' was ons gebouw de plek waar verhalen ontstonden, werden geschreven en uiteindelijk werden gedrukt in inkt. Deze rijke historie komt nu tot leven in ieder detail in de 149 kamers, 2 meeting zalen en restaurant & cocktailbar PRESSROOM.

Working hand in hand with the Kitchen Chef, you'll help recruit, train, and guide our talented Chef de Parties, ensuring the highest standards are met in every dish.You'll oversee the smooth execution of breakfast, lunch, and dinner service in our à la carte restaurant, where our open kitchen allows you to connect with guests through your craft. With calm communication and impeccable organization, you'll set the tone for a professional and inspiring work environment.You'll also have the chance to flex your creativity by designing custom menus for In-Room Dining and our intimate meeting rooms together with our Head Chef. Whether it's adapting to special requests or introducing new ideas, you take pride in making every plate memorable.With a sharp eye for detail, you maintain top hygiene and safety standards (HACCP), ensure mise-en-place is perfectly prepared, and keep the kitchen running smoothly by anticipating product needs. Job Requirements
Tick the box!Does your story match our wishes? For our Sous Chef position, we're looking for someone who brings passion, professionalism, and precision to every plate. You are our perfect match if you have:✅ A culinary degree from a reputable organization;
✅ At least three years of experience in an (open) kitchen within a comparable establishment;
✅ Experience in ordering, receiving, and preparing fresh ingredients;
✅ Availability to work both weekdays and weekends;
✅ Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts;
✅ Full-time availability (38 hours per week);
✅ Excellent skills in various cooking techniques and cuisines;
