We are Novotel Amsterdam City, one of the largest 4-star hotels in the Netherlands. As a strong brand, we are part of the international organization Accor. Novotel Amsterdam City has 610 rooms, approximately 1,300 m2 of meeting space, and various F&B outlets. Daily, we accommodate an average of 500+ guests and provide them with the best service they could wish for.
Novotel's Convention Center
The Convention Center is a large and versatile event location in Amsterdam. With 20 modern meeting rooms, high ceilings, natural daylight, and approximately 1,300 m² of flexible event space, it hosts everything from international conferences to private business meetings. Our spaces are equipped with high‑tech audiovisual systems, digital signage, and fast business internet, giving you the tools to support smooth, professional events. The atmosphere is international, fast‑paced, and focused on delivering high‑quality service for every guest.
Your day as a Team Member Banqueting
As a Team Member Banqueting, every day is different. One day you prepare a large conference, the next you set up a private dinner. Flexibility and teamwork are essential. On a daily basis you help with setting up the event spaces, deliver high‑quality service during the event, and ensure everything is clean up afterwards. During service you are representative, professional, and independent, always focused on creating a great guest experience.

Qualifications
We are currently looking for a new Banqueting colleague to join our team with following qualities:
- Strong verbal communication skills of the English language;
- You are enthusiastic, outgoing and flexible;
- You have a positive can-do attitude and you enjoy that no day is the same;
- You have a teamplayer mindset;
- You enjoy a physical job.
