Wat ga je doen?As our Technical Lead - you guide our observability team and drive the adoption of the Grafana LGTM stack across our organization. You build products and platforms for our engineers. You contribute directly to creating a state-of-the-art, self-service ecosystem of products and automation.
This is a mission you will not take on solo but as a full-fledged member of the enablement team. Following Inner-Sourcing principles, you will work with users and maintainers throughout the whole organization to fit your ideas into the bigger picture: Accelerate our product teams so they can deliver quality customer value quickly and autonomously.

This is how you will reinvent food retail
Strategy and Leadership: Together with the team leadership; Define the observability roadmap and drive the adoption of the Grafana LGTM stack across the organization.
Architecture and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain a robust observability framework hosted on AKS, ensuring high availability and scalability.Use Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to manage and provision observability tooling.Automate deployment workflows with GitHub Actions, ensuring seamless updates and integrations across the stack.
Coaching: Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Collaboration: Support software engineering teams to integrate observability into development pipelines and operational workflows.
Incident Response: Assist in diagnosing and resolving system incidents by leveraging observability tools, ensuring swift root-cause analysis and remediation.
Training and Enablement: Advocate for observability across the organization, delivering training and workshops to empower teams to utilize observability tools effectively.
Your profile: Proven track record in platform engineering or related fields (e.g. observability, SRE, DevOps
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of kubernetes, logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, and metrics collection.
- Proficiency in Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Mimir (or similar tools).
- Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure management and automation.
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools to automate workflows and deployments.
- Expertise in cloud-native environments, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
What do we offer? - An annual salary of up to €130K (including holiday allowance & bonus), depending on your seniority based on a full-time workweek.
