Wat ga je doen?Supplying 1,300 stores. Make it work.
As a Warehouse Associate, you'll work with your colleagues to ensure that all our stores receive fresh stock every day. With the latest logistics systems and technologies, we can supply our stores efficiently and on time.
What does your workday look like?
You’ll help with picking store orders and loading and unloading trucks. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to a safe and enjoyable work environment.
As a part-time Warehouse Associate, you’ll always know what to expect: you’ll work the same shift each week with the same team, for example on Friday nights, Saturdays, or Sundays. And if you'd like to work more hours, you can always sign up for extra shifts.
As a full-time Warehouse Associate, you will work in a shift schedule that includes day, evening, and night shifts
Our offer:
- Your salary is determined based on the collective labor agreement (CAO). If you work 12 hours or less per week, you receive an all-inclusive hourly wage. If you work 13 hours or more (up to a maximum of 40 hours per week), you’ll receive an hourly wage according to the CAO, plus vacation- and adv hours.
- Additionally, you may receive a shift allowance (depending on your work schedule), which can add up significantly!

Can you handle the load?
As a Warehouse Associate 1, you contribute to a smooth logistics process within the distribution centre. You may be assigned to various basic tasks such as:
- Order picking: collecting the correct products for our stores.
- Loading lorries: making sure trolleys are placed in the lorry in the correct way.
- Transit: moving prepared trolleys from suppliers or other Albert Heijn distribution centres to the correct area.
- Full pallet picking: moving and sorting dollies and displays to the right location.
- Container management: making sure the roller container lanes are supplied, removing broken roller containers, and taking away roller containers filled with plastic bags.
