As a Warehouse Coordinator, you play a key role in managing daily warehouse operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You are responsible for coordinating people, processes, and resources to guarantee that goods are handled, stored, and shipped correctly and on time.

You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team where communication, leadership, and flexibility are essential. In this role, you act as the link between warehouse operators, supervisors, and external partners such as temporary agencies and transport companies.

Your responsibilities include managing and guiding a team of warehouse employees, ensuring that work is executed efficiently and according to established procedures. You will monitor daily performance, support employee development, and use tools such as performance reviews to help your team grow.

In addition, you will:

• Ensure goods are available in the right place, at the right time, and in the right condition
• Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipment preparation
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock accuracy
• Work according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety guidelines
• Identify discrepancies between targets and results and report these to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Support daily operations during peak periods when needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in daily LEAN meetings
• Identify bottlenecks in processes and propose improvements
• Ensure correct administrative processing of goods and documentation

You will also be responsible for maintaining an efficient and positive working environment, motivating your team, and ensuring operational targets are achieved.

This is a varied role where you combine operational involvement with coordination and leadership responsibilities.

Requirements:

• MBO level of working and thinking
• 1–3 years of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
• Experience as a Warehouse or VAS Operator is a plus
• Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and/or English
• Strong social and leadership skills (motivating, coaching, and correcting employees)
• Willingness to obtain or already in possession of forklift, reach truck, clamp truck, and EPT certificates
• Flexible and hands-on mentality
