GXO is a world leader in providing advanced logistics solutions for international companies and major market leaders. Based in Limburg, GXO Heerlen will handle JD Sports' full omnichannel logistics management for European markets. The distribution center will become a "central logistics hub" for JD Sports, which currently has 3,300 stores in Europe spread across 32 countries. The start-up will happen in three phases. Phase 1 will start up with a manual operation and phases 2 and 3 will work on automation and expansion of operations. The Heerlen location will be a fully automated warehouse with about 1,500 co-workers by 2025. At the start in 2023 work will mainly be done in 1 shift, at the beginning (first quarter) of 2024 this will change to 2 shifts followed by 3 shifts, finally at the end of 2024 work will be done in 5 shifts. A 24/7 operation.Â

🔧 Position Overview:
You will begin with a multi-day training program to prepare you for work on the automated line. After training, you’ll be scheduled for fixed working hours, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 – enjoy your weekends off!
