Our client is a well-established bakery and wholesale producer with many years of tradition, supplying fresh bread and confectionery products to customers across the Netherlands. The company combines artisanal craftsmanship with modern production techniques, creating high-quality baked goods known for their excellent taste.

With production reaching up to 600 loaves per hour, every team member plays a vital role in the process – from dough preparation to the final crispy loaf.

Job Responsibilities

As a Bakery Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire bread production process. Your duties will include:

• Calculating required raw materials for production
• Weighing ingredients and adding them to mixing installations
• Determining the correct water temperature for dough preparation
• Setting up and adjusting machines according to production needs
• Monitoring dough and bread quality throughout the process
• Participating in all stages of production: mixing, baking, and packaging
• Operating ovens and other production equipment
• Troubleshooting minor technical issues and process deviations
• Suggesting improvements to products and production processes
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of machines and workspace
• Following hygiene, quality, and safety regulations
• Supporting team members and sharing knowledge
• Identifying problems and contributing to solutions
• Working independently after training, taking responsibility for planning, quality, and production costs

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for experienced professionals who can work independently and contribute to process improvements.

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience as a baker, bakery operator, or food production operator
• Is motivated to learn and develop new skills
• Can work independently and take responsibility
• Speaks and understands basic Dutch
• Is comfortable working night shifts
• Is looking for a long-term, stable position

• Permanent night shift: 5:00 PM – 2:30 AM
• We offer an hourly rate of €16.22 gross, supplemented by a 34% shift allowance for night work from 22:00 onwards, resulting in a total of €21.73 gross per hour for night hours.
