About the vacancy
The Contract Manager Procurement will be managing that suppliers are being contracted according to a certain standard and in a certain timeframe; next to that the Contract Manager Procurement can be requested to support in contractual discussions with suppliers during the execution phase of a project.
What will you do?
- Manage contract negotiations with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Collaborate closely with legal, project management, and technical teams to ensure cohesive and effective procurement operations
- Step-in and secure NewCold's position towards (and manage the relation with) the Supplier in the event of escalation by the project director in case of a breach of contract and/or misalignment and lead towards a workable solution
- International business travel, when required
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- More than 7 years in experience in Extensive experience in procurement contract management roles, preferably in the high technology automated logistics industry or similar fields
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and assertive personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, any other European language is a plus
