This company in Breda is an American medical technology company fully dedicated to orthopedic products for children. Founded in 2006, it is a global leader in pediatric orthopedics.

The European Distribution Center (EDC) is located in Breda and is responsible for logistics and customer service across the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). From this location, medical implants and instruments are distributed to hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Europe.

The company offers both surgical and non-surgical solutions, including products for bone deformity correction, scoliosis, and sports injuries in children.

Functieomschrijving

We are looking for a versatile and proactive Customer Service & Warehouse Specialist for our new European Distribution Center (EDC) in Breda. In this dynamic role, you will combine customer service, logistics, warehouse operations, and inspection of returned instruments and implant sets. You’ll be part of a newly formed team and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a full-time position, and you should be flexible and able to switch tasks easily. Working hours are Monday to Friday, either from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The salary ranges from €2800 to €3000, depending on experience.

Your responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Answering customer and distributor inquiries, processing orders, handling returns, and organizing transport;

  • Warehouse Tasks: Receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods; performing inventory checks;

  • Inspection: Checking returned medical instruments and implant sets for quality and completeness;

  • Administration: Invoicing, processing payments, and maintaining documentation;

  • Flexibility: Switching between customer service and warehouse duties based on daily needs.

Functie-eisen

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in customer service, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably in the medical sector (not a must);

  • Good command of both English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus;

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central);

  • A proactive attitude, accuracy, strong communication skills, and team spirit;

  • Completed MBO Level 4 education (intermediate vocational education).
