Vacature English Speaking Welding Operator in Nijmegen

You will be part of the cleanroom of a growing hightech organization in the area of Nijmegen. As an operator hightech you will be responsible for automated welding of thin-walled stainless steel piping for different international customers. You will be trained and guided by an experienced colleague and with the use of technical drawings you will work on various assignments, often unique pieces or small series. You will use different types of welding heads on the machine and you will program your own welding programs. In addition you will check the quality of the product and you contribute ideas about improvements for the process in order to increase efficiency.

Due to your technical work and accuracy you will play an important role to provide different customers, for instance in the semiconductor or pharmaceutical industry with a high quality product.

As an operator hightech you will work in a cleanroom in 2-shifts (from 06:00-14:30 and 14:15-22:45).

• You have completed a technical education (MBO level or higher);
• You have experience with reading technical drawings;
• You have experience in a technical job that requires precision;
• If you have some experience with welding that would be a plus;
• You work precisely and in accordance with procedures in order to guarantee quality;
• You can work independently, but you are also a pleasant colleague to work with;
• You have a good command of the Dutch or English language in word and writing;
• Finally you can work in a 2-shift schedule (06:00-14:30 and 14:15-22:45)
