You will be working for a family-owned company that has been active since 1934. The company produces industrial silencers for various sectors, such as shipbuilding, offshore, and energy. 

The atmosphere on the shop floor is informal and collegial. You will work alongside skilled professionals who take pride in their products. The company values quality and development. Approximately 50 employees work there, and communication lines are short. You will have the opportunity to contribute to technically high-quality products.

As a fabricator welder, you will work full-time (40 hours per week) in Krimpen a/d IJssel. You will have your own welding booth where you independently work on steel structures and industrial silencers. These silencers are used on large exhaust systems, for example on luxury yachts. You read technical drawings, assemble components, and complete the welding neatly and precisely. You work with MIG/MAG welding equipment and use basic tools such as grinders.

On a typical workday, you start by reviewing the technical drawing. Then you collect the prefabricated components. You use the overhead crane to move heavy parts. Next, you assemble the silencer and complete the welding. You check your own work for dimensions and finishing quality. You work independently, but colleagues are nearby for consultation when needed.

• You have MBO-level working and thinking ability
• You have 2 or more years of experience as a welder/fabricator
• You can read technical drawings
• You can work with MIG/MAG (CO2) welding equipment
• You have experience assembling and welding steel structures
• You speak and read basic English
• You can work accurately and independently
• You can work with basic tools and an overhead crane

• Salary between €3,400 and €3,700 gross per month
