Your role as a Finance and ESG Reporting Analyst
The Finance & ESG Reporting Analyst ensures accurate, timely financial and ESG reports for NewCold by collecting, consolidating, and validating high-quality data to meet monthly, annual, statutory, and emerging ESG requirements.
This role supports both Finance and ESG by maintaining data integrity, coordinating with data owners, assisting audits, resolving intercompany issues, and contributing to ESG disclosures under CSRD/ESRS and other standards.
What will you do?
- Integrated Reporting & Closing Activities
Support the monthly and year‑end reporting cycles by preparing, validating, and consolidating both financial and ESG data for group and holding entities.
Contribute to statutory reporting and annual report disclosures, ensuring that financial and ESG information aligns with internal and external requirements. - Data Quality, Controls & Intercompany Processes
Monitor and resolve intercompany positions while ensuring consistency in both financial and ESG data submissions across entities.
Execute data quality checks, validation steps, and internal controls to maintain an auditable record for financial close and ESG reporting processes. - Systems Management & Continuous Improvement
Maintain and further develop NewCold's group reporting and consolidation tools, including structures for ESG metrics, financial data, and master data integrity.
Support enhancements that improve data availability, accuracy, and reporting efficiency across the global reporting landscape. - Compliance, Standards & Regulatory Alignment
Assist with tax compliance activities and support the preparation of finance and ESG related audit materials.
Contribute to alignment with reporting standards and frameworks such as CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, IFRS ISSB, TCFD, and the GHG Protocol. - Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Support
Serve as a point of contact for site controllers, ESG data owners, and global subsidiaries to ensure timely, complete, and high‑quality submissions.
Respond to external stakeholder requests, including customer ESG questionnaires and audit inquiries, providing accurate and consistent group information.
Support the preparation of internal reporting instructions, communication materials, and explanatory analyses for management reviews.
Who are we looking for?
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
- Knowledge of ESG or sustainability in finance
- Experience in financial reporting
- Experience in data management of ESG and financials.
- Proficiency in financial accounting standards
- Knowledge of ESG reporting standards
- Professional communication
- Professional English skills (verbal & written), any other European language is a plus
- Organizational Skills
