Job Description
At Park Plaza Vondelpark Amsterdam, our boutique hotel environment allows you to build genuine connections with guests while gaining hands-on Food & Beverage experience. From breakfast service to dining at TOZI Amsterdam, every day is an opportunity to learn, grow and make an impact.
Situated in Amsterdam's Oud-Zuid district, our stylish boutique hotel is home to the award-winning TOZI Amsterdam, where authentic Italian flavours and exceptional hospitality come together.
As a Food & Beverage Intern, you will support the team in delivering memorable dining experiences while developing your hospitality skills in a professional and welcoming environment.
The internship starts in September 2026 for a period of 5 or 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Support the Food & Beverage team during breakfast, lunch and dinner services
- Deliver a welcoming and professional service to guests
- Assist with the preparation and set-up of restaurant and bar areas
- Take food and beverage orders and ensure guests receive an excellent experience
- Learn and apply Food & Beverage procedures, standards and systems
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across all outlets
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
Essential Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management or related study programme
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Passion for hospitality and guest service
- Positive, professional and enthusiastic attitude
- Eager to learn and develop new skills
- Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands
Preferred Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, Food & Beverage or customer service is an advantage
- Interest in restaurant and bar operations
- Dutch or additional language skills are a plus
- Ambition to develop a career within hospitality

The internship allowance is €550 gross per month (full-time), which is above the Horeca CAO BOL guidelines.
