About us:Welcome to Crowne Plaza Amsterdam – South, a modern business hotel in the lively Zuidas district.
With 207 rooms, 7 meeting venues, and buzzing spots like De Japanner Zuid and the Manhattan Lounge-Bar, we offer guests and team members a place to connect, grow, and belong — as part of the global IHG Hotels & Resorts family.Your day to day:
- Ensuring our guests enjoy a delightful breakfast experience through friendly and attentive service
- Setting up and maintaining breakfast stations and keeping the dining area clean and inviting
- Engaging with guests, offering recommendations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Assisting with the morning preparation of the Manhattan Lounge Bar
- Supporting the setup for meetings and events as needed
- Taking part in lunch and dinner service at De Japanner Zuid, our signature restaurant serving Japanese-inspired dishes
- Preparing the restaurant for service, welcoming guests, and delivering high-quality service throughout their meal
- Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Bringing your creativity and proactive mindset to enhance our guests' dining experiences
Job Requirements
Ready to land this internship?
- The internship is part of your school program
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch. Another language is always a plus.
- You have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working with people
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Opera is a plus
- A well-groomed and professional appearance that represents our brand with confidence
