At Crowne Plaza Amsterdam – South, business meets comfort in the lively Zuidas district, with 207 rooms, 7 meeting venues, and vibrant spots like De Japanner Zuid and the Manhattan Lounge-Bar.
At voco® The Hague, an iconic former bank building has been transformed into a stylish hotel with 204 elegant rooms and a warm, welcoming team.
Together, these two hotels offer the perfect place to learn, grow, and connect within the IHG Hotels & Resorts family.Your day to day:
- Supporting the daily audit process, ensuring all transactions from the night shift are correctly processed
- Handling payments, deposits, and refunds while making sure everything balances perfectly
- Monitoring and following up on outstanding invoices and debtor lists
- Communicating with guests or partners regarding payment reminders or billing questions by phone or email
- Checking and verifying that all departments follow financial and administrative procedures correctly
- Processing receiving sheets from purchasing and verifying supplier invoices
- Preparing manual refunds for review and approval by the Financial Controller
- Providing remittance advice or payment confirmations to suppliers when needed
- Assisting with reporting and data entry, keeping all financial records accurate and up to date
- Collaborating with other departments to solve billing issues or clarify transactions
- Upholding IHG and Crowne Plaza standards, ensuring that both our guests and partners experience professional, transparent financial service
Job Requirements
Ready to land this internship?
- The internship is part of your school program
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch. Another language is always a plus.
- You have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working with people
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Opera is a plus
- A well-groomed and professional appearance that represents our brand with confidence
