As an Isolator, you will work on insulation systems in naval and shipyard environments. Your role focuses on installing, assembling, and finishing insulation according to technical drawings and strict safety regulations.

Your main tasks include:

• Installing thermal and acoustic insulation on pipes, ducts, bulkheads, and technical installations
• Working with insulation materials such as mineral wool, Armaflex, PIR, and similar systems
• Measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation materials accurately
• Applying finishing layers such as cladding, sheet metal, or protective coverings
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Working in confined spaces, at heights, and within steel ship structures
• Following shipyard safety procedures and regulations

• Around 3 years of experience as an Isolator in naval or shipyard environments
• Experience with thermal and acoustic insulation materials
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Driving licence category B
• Communicative English (B1/B2 level)
• Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one (can be arranged by Maintec)
• Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team

Employment conditions

• Gross hourly wage between €15.00 – €19.00, depending on experience
• Net weekly salary between €500 – €650, based on a 40-hour working week
• Possibility to work overtime
• Weekly salary payments
• Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation
