You are not looking for an IT role where you simply work through tickets. You want autonomy, a close-knit team that depends on one another, and an environment where you can combine hands-on support with ownership of local IT projects. As a IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer at Bausch + Lomb in Schiphol-Rijk, you will find exactly that: trust, international collaboration, and a visible role at a site where your expertise makes a difference every day. In return, you can expect a varied work week, the freedom to organise your work effectively, and the opportunity to further develop your skills in support, infrastructure, and project delivery.
You will join Bausch + Lomb, a global leader in eye health and pharmaceuticals. For more than 165 years, we have been committed to improving vision and quality of life worldwide. In the Netherlands, you will become part of a small and committed team where openness, humour, and collaboration are a natural part of daily working life.
You will be part of the IT team and will work primarily on site, as this is where the core of the role is based. You will report directly to the department manager. Within the team, a safe, pleasant, and collaborative working environment is key, with transparency forming the foundation of how people work together.

You help keep the entire workplace operational and contribute to new on-site IT solutions. As a result, this is not a narrow support position, but a broad and varied IT role that combines operational responsibility with project work. For example, our warehouse will soon relocate to a new site in Aalsmeer, where your expertise will also play an important part.
To succeed in this position, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
You have a genuine interest in IT, stay calm when several priorities come together, and naturally collaborate with others. You will fit well into this team if you are practical, take ownership, and are comfortable handling hands-on IT work on site.
In addition, it is important that you:
At Bausch + Lomb, you will have the freedom to take initiative within an international organisation with a strong reputation. You will work independently while being supported by a team that is behind you. Your contribution will be recognised, valued, and rewarded.
