Due to expansion in the Amsterdam area, we are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our Automated Warehouse division.
Role overview
As a Maintenance technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced automated warehouse systems.
You ensure that the systems operate smoothly and reliably, analyze technical faults, and continuously work on improving performance and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated systems according to established schedules.
- Diagnose and solve mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
- Identify and implement improvement and optimization opportunities.
- Support PLC-related adjustments (e.g., Siemens S7).
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues about maintenance activities.
Your profile
- MBO level 4 or HBO degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Control Technology.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in complex automated or industrial systems.
- Knowledge of PLC systems (experience with Siemens S7 is a plus).
- In possession of a driver’s license and VCA Basic Certificate (or willing to obtain one).
- Familiarity with NEN 3140 and NEN 1010 standards.
- Analytical, hands-on, and solution-oriented.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good command of English and willingness to learn Dutch.
