As an Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will build mobile testing and maintenance machines for the military aviation industry in Weesp. You assemble and wire Ground Support Equipment used to test and maintain helicopters and (fighter) aircraft. You'll work in a modern workshop where everything is done in-house: from design to testing. The environment is clean, high-tech, and equipped with professional tools. You work day shifts, and with 40 days off you'll maintain a strong work-life balance.

Job Description

As an Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will build mobile testing and maintenance machines for the military aviation industry in Weesp. You assemble and wire Ground Support Equipment used to test and maintain helicopters and (fighter) aircraft. You'll work in a modern workshop where everything is done in-house: from design to testing. The environment is clean, high-tech, and equipped with professional tools. Your responsibilities:

  • Assemble, wire and connect mobile machines based on technical drawings and electrical schematics (from start to finish).
  • Deliver cable terminations, routing and finishing neatly and fault-free, in line with quality standards.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in assembly, wiring or working methods and translate these into practical solutions together with Engineering.
  • Support commissioning and testing in the test cells, depending on your experience and the direction you want to grow in.




Job Requirements
  • You can read electrical schematics and technical drawings and work independently from them.
  • You have an MBO-level education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience is a plus, but your motivation and willingness to learn matter at least as much.
