What does a Heat Tracing Technician do?As a Heat Tracing Technician, you are the go-to expert in electric pipe heating. Using heating cables, you ensure that pipelines, tanks, valves, and surfaces are either maintained at the right temperature or actively heated when needed.
What does your role involve?
You are part of a small team of skilled professionals specialized in Heat Tracing;
You install and maintain heating cables and related equipment, and you commission them electrically;
You troubleshoot and expertly resolve malfunctions in Heat Tracing systems;
You regularly communicate with clients and explain the use and maintenance of the installations;
You accurately document your work in digital job reports and records;
You actively contribute ideas for technical improvements and advise both clients and colleagues;
You help optimize internal processes and workflows with your input and suggestions.
In short: a varied role that allows you to work as a specialist on diverse projects across different sectors. There is also the option to join the on-call service team.
Functie-eisen
To be successful as a Heat Tracing Technician, you meet the following profile:
Completed vocational education (MBO) in Electrical Engineering (level 2 or 3);
A few years of work experience in the industrial sector, preferably in Heat Tracing (but don’t worry—we’ll teach you the ins and outs of our field!);
A valid driver’s license.
