- Design diagnostic calibration strategies to maintain OBD compliance for engine programs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to defined standards.
- Ensure that OBD system development and validation follow DAF process guidelines.
- Develop tools to control, maintain, and optimize processes and documentation.
- Translate OBD regulations to ensure compliance with DAF engine development.
Functie-eisen- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering with a passion for automotive or vehicle engineering.
- Mandatory knowledge of internal combustion engines, with a preference for diesel.
- Optional knowledge and experience with SAE 1939-71/73 CAN.
- Basic understanding of OBD regulation and OBD systems.
- Structured working approach with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for tackling complex technical issues.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and organizations.
- Proficiency in MS-Office and Matlab.
- Mandatory proficiency in English, with a willingness to learn Dutch.
