Are you a hands-on leader who feels at home in a dynamic production environment? For a leading European specialist in fresh herbs and natural flavourings, we are looking for a Production Team Leader in Venlo.
Within this fast-growing organisation, sustainable herbs are cultivated in several European countries and processed at a modern facility in Venlo. You will play a key role in leading teams, optimising processes, and ensuring high quality standards within production.

What will you do?

• Ensure a smooth start-up and continuous operation of production lines
• Analyse production performance and implement improvements (e.g. changeover times and efficiency)
• Lead, coach, and develop line leaders, operators, and production employees
• Monitor and achieve daily production targets
• Lead daily production and team meetings
• Implement 5S and continuous improvement principles (Kaizen/Scrum)
• Collaborate with the Technical Department to resolve breakdowns and deviations
• Ensure quality, safety, and hygiene standards within the production environment
• Record key process and team updates for smooth shift handovers

What do we ask from you?

• Experience in a leadership role within a production environment
• Strong coaching and communication skills
• Eye for quality, safety, and process optimisation
• Experience with continuous improvement processes is a plus
• Ability to switch quickly and maintain overview
• Good command of the English language (Dutch is a plus)
• Proactive and results-oriented work attitude
