Are you a hands-on leader who feels at home in a dynamic production environment? For a leading European specialist in fresh herbs and natural flavorings, we are looking for a Production Team Leader in Venlo.
Within this fast-growing organization, sustainable herbs are cultivated in several European countries and processed at the modern facility in Venlo. You will play a key role in managing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring high quality standards within production.

What will you do?

• Ensuring a smooth start-up and continuation of production lines
• Analyzing production performance and implementing improvements (e.g. changeover times and efficiency)
• Managing, coaching, and developing line leaders, operators, and production employees
• Monitoring and achieving daily production targets
• Leading daily production and team meetings
• Implementing 5S and continuous improvement principles (Kaizen/Scrum)
• Collaborating with the Technical Department to resolve malfunctions and deviations
• Ensuring quality, safety, and hygiene within the production environment
• Recording key process and team updates for smooth handover

What do we ask from you?

• Experience in a leadership role within a production environment
• Strong coaching and communication skills
• Attention to quality, safety, and process optimization
• Experience with continuous improvement projects is a plus
• Ability to switch quickly and maintain oversight
• Good command of the English language (Dutch is a plus)
• Proactive and results-oriented work attitude
