About the vacancy
To support our further growth, we are looking for a talented and ambitious Project Manager who will be responsible of all the works related to the Material Handling Equipment and the racking: managing scope, detail engineering, change order requests, factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, integration tests, planning, training, site supervision, hand over to operations.
What will you do?
1. Managing Scope
The project scope is based on and/or consists:
- Client requirements / Operational Service Agreement (OSA)
- Basic Engineering Assumptions (Business Development)
- Configurator
- RFQ/RFT
- Project Audits / Lessons Learned previous projects
- NewCold Standard Design
2. Detail Engineering
The Project Manager will support the suppliers with the detail engineering. The NewCold standards have to be respected and try to keep sites alike for training and maintenance purposes. Interfaces with other suppliers need to be checked (Building, power, data, etc.)
3. Change Order Requests
In case changes need to be made to the scope or amendments to the works in the contract the change order procedure must be followed.
4. Change Orders
The OSA, FDS, WMS and MFCS Specification are fixed at the start of the project. In case changes need to be made or additions to one of the concepts or the contract need to be done the change order procedure must be followed.
5. Factory Acceptance Test(s)
Following the Acceptance Procedure, a plan for FAT(s) must be made, executed and documented.
6. Site Acceptance Tests
To come to a completion and hand over of the project SAD's must be performed:
- Integration tests PLC - MFCS
- Integration tests MHE/MFCS - WMS
- Testing the availability
- Testing the performance of individual components
- Testing the performance of the total installation
- Collect all certification documentation
7. Planning
The planning needs to be agreed within the project team and with the Client and Supplier(s). During the project the planning needs to be monitored and possible deviations need to be acted upon before they become a problem for other suppliers and/or the project.
8. Training
The Implementation team will train the future operations on a 'Train the Trainer' principle. The PM MHE is responsible for organizing the safety training, given by the suppliers and for the maintenance training to the engineers. Training will be for Operational, Mechanical and Management personnel. A detailed planning of what needs to be trained and when must be made.
The Project Manager MHE must collect all training documentation and record who has been trained on what.
9. Site supervision
The PM MHE must support and manage the site super visor in his regular on-site checks and integrate these checks in the reporting and if necessary, escalate issues.
10. Maintenance Contracts
For each supplier a detailed maintenance contract must be obtained as well as a proposed spare parts list. The PM MHE will advise operations in selecting a maintenance contract and the proper spare parts.
11. Hand-Over to operations
A complete hand-over to operations can be done after completing all training, receiving all training documentation, manuals, CE declarations and successfully performing all necessary tests (performance and availability).
Expected time abroad up to 40%.
