Are you a natural host with a passion for genuine Amsterdam hospitality? For our location on Fizeaustraat, we are looking for a Restaurant Manager who inspires the team, keeps operations running smoothly, and effortlessly connects with our diverse guests — from local Amsterdammers to international visitors.
As Restaurant Manager, you are the one who ensures that everything in the restaurant runs seamlessly: from a well-organized operation to a team that works perfectly together. You lead and motivate the team, provide on-the-job coaching, and create a positive atmosphere. You are also highly visible on the floor, maintain oversight, step in where needed, and make sure both guests and colleagues feel welcome.
Sustainability, quality, and hospitality are at the core of the way you work. You work with local, organic, and responsibly sourced ingredients and encourage sustainable choices. You keep track of the budget, contribute to financial planning, and collaborate with the kitchen team on innovative, sustainable menus. In addition, you ensure that all safety and hygiene standards are fully complied with.
Job Requirements
About you:

You are an experienced hospitality professional, ready to keep the restaurant running smoothly and professionally;

You feel at home in Amsterdam and connect easily with both hotel guests and local regulars;

You are a natural leader: you motivate, coach, and build a team that enjoys working together;

Guest experience is your top priority: you instinctively understand what guests want and always know how to leave them with a smile;

You enjoy interacting with guests, know how to ensure their satisfaction, and handle complaints and feedback smoothly to continuously improve the guest experience;

Sustainability and quality come naturally to you: you consciously work with local and responsibly sourced products;

You are organized and attentive to safety, hygiene, and all operational standards required in the restaurant;

You are looking for a full-time position and are fluent in both Dutch and English;

Preferably, you live in or around Amsterdam.
