About the vacancy
Due to its continuous growth NewCold is looking to expand the IT Department with 2 new colleagues who will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our organization's network infrastructure.
What will you do?
- Develop and implement comprehensive network design strategies to meet business requirements and future scalability needs.
- Design and configure network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their network requirements and provide technical guidance for network implementation.
Who are we looking for?
You have:
- A completed HBO / Bachelor Degree and applicable certifications
- 4-7 years relevant working experience in
- Good communication skills
- The ability to adopt new technologies fast
- Solid understanding of networking design principles
- Strong knowledge of network protocols
- Automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Ansible.)
- Solid understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network access controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex network issues
- Proficiency in network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and other industry-leading networking technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS), network architecture, and network security principles.
- Fully proficient in English, any other European language is a plus.
