Join a high-tech company specializing in advanced transport systems and make a real international impact. As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll combine hands-on technical work with travelling, ensuring that complex machinery operates at peak performance for clients across the Netherlands.

Your role

In this dynamic position, you’ll frequently travel to install, maintain, and optimize transport systems in production and logistics facilities. On-site, you’ll be the trusted expert, solving technical challenges and delivering top-quality service. Occasionally, you’ll also provide troubleshooting remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintenance & upgrades – Carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
• Technical diagnosis – Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using technical drawings and diagnostic tools.
• Client support – Communicate effectively with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
• Precision work – Calibrate, fine-tune, and commission components for maximum efficiency.

What we offer

• Competitive salary up to €4,400 gross/month, depending on experience
• Flexible workweek – 32 or 36 hours, aligned with travel schedules
• 25 vacation days + 13 ADV days
• Fully equipped service van, professional tools, and fuel card
• Frequent international travel, with a strong focus on the UK and European markets
• Permanent contract from day one

What you bring

• A completed technical MBO (or equivalent) in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on mindset with a passion for solving real-world technical challenges
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) to interact with international clients
• A valid EU driver’s license (B) and willingness to travel extensively
• Based in the Netherlands with full EU work authorization

Location

Your home base will be Oud-Beijerland, near Rotterdam, from where you’ll travel to client sites across Europe.
