The job

As a Service Integration Manager for our Stores and Supply Chain you manage our large estate of hardware, infrastructure and networks together with our partners to ensure a smooth experience for both our employees and customers. This is not something that you will be doing alone as you work closely together with our AH engineering teams to make these elements an integral part of our technology platforms and solutions. We are aiming to create the next generation AH technology ecosystem where we enable continuous innovations by our product teams. This is how you will reinvent food retail. We thrive on challenges, think big, and operate at scale, collaborating closely with engineering teams, hardware, and infrastructure partners in our Stores and Distribution Centers.

 

In this role, you will be the linchpin in our Service Integration & Management team with the following capabilities:

  • in-depth knowledge of SIAM processes to govern and manage Store and DC infrastructure vendors, fostering collaboration and enhancing end-to-end service quality.
  • Strong technical foundation, particularly in ServiceNow and observability, driving the implementation and integration of seamless SIAM processes, ensuring a holistic approach to service management.
  • Takes the lead in evolving ITIL frameworks to the next level of IT service management. Harmonizing these frameworks with our DevOps practices, creating a cohesive and efficient service ecosystem.
  • Incorporate vendor Service Level Agreements (SLA's) into end-to-end critical chain operations, ensuring a cohesive approach to service delivery.
  • Integrate business demands with a service portfolio encompassing infrastructure and hardware-related activities, driving strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with partners and engineering teams to embed DevOps and cloud (native) technology stacks within our Stores and DC infrastructure. This integration enhances the efficiency and resilience of our service ecosystem. Your contributions will be instrumental in supporting our engineering teams to achieve excellence.

 

Your day-to-day activities will involve:

  • Foster relationships with various stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and engineering teams, ensuring open communication and collaboration. Strive to evangelize resiliency engineering throughout the entire chain.
  •  Take responsibility for managing end-to-end Service Level Agreements (SLA's) of our vendors, working towards the implementation of Service Level Indicators (SLI) and Service Level Objectives (SLO) as part of our critical chains.
  • Incorporate the infrastructure and hardware landscape into the AH Tech standard Observability and DevOps tooling for E2E observability
  • Drive the technical implementation and integration of vendor solutions into our ecosystem, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT operations (ITOM).
  • Drive SIAM processes in collaboration with vendors such as IT Asset Management, Service Portfolio and Release Management, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our IT service environment.
  • Apply your analytical mindset to identify structural improvements in our IT infrastructure, enhancing performance and operational efficiency.
  • Act as the first point of contact for our stakeholders and the business, ensuring a consistent and high level of IT service quality. Is this you?

 

To become successful as our new Service Integration Manager, you bring a Technology/IT Engineering Master’s or Bachelor's degree and proven experience with implementing and improving Service Integration and Management processes and technology:

o Service Design and Transition

o Service Catalog and Portfolio Management

o Service Level Management, Reporting & Analytics

o Observability (Service Monitoring) o Supplier management

o IT Asset Management o Continuous Service Improvement

o Incident & Problem Management

o Change & Release Management

  • Proven experience in use of ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM
  • Proven experience in use of DevOps (operational) tooling, e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, OpsGenie, GitHub, etc.
  • Experience and understanding of implementing DevOps practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of public cloud, e.g. Azure
  • Strong communicator in Dutch and English.
