As a Shipboard Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on board ships and maritime installations. You will work with systems such as lighting, navigation equipment, power distribution, automation, and communication systems.

Your daily activities include:

• Installing and connecting electrical systems on vessels;
• Reading and working from technical and electrical schematics;
• Inspecting, testing, and commissioning onboard installations;
• Troubleshooting electrical and technical issues;
• Supporting maintenance, refit, and modernization projects.

You will work on-site at shipyards, ports, and occasionally onboard ships during projects or sea trials.

• Completed MBO education in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field;
• Relevant experience as an electrician, preferably within shipbuilding or maritime projects;
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and systems is a plus;
• Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one;
• Driving license B;
• Flexible, solution-oriented, and able to work independently;
• Dutch or English language proficiency.
