As a Shopfitter/Fitter Assembler you’ll work full-time in Sliedrecht, right in the heart of the maritime and industrial sector. You’ll work 40 to 50 hours per week in a modern, safe factory. Using the latest tools and clear drawings, you shape piping into a perfectly fitting assembly. This makes your work varied and challenging.
A typical workday starts with reviewing the technical drawings. Then you gather the right materials, such as RVS or Duplex. You fit bends, flanges and T-pieces, align them precisely and tack-weld them. You coordinate with welders and quality inspectors to ensure everything is correct. You work safely and accurately, in accordance with applicable standards and requirements. At the end of the day you check that the piping meets all specifications.
You get a lot of freedom in your work, but you’re never on your own. Together with colleagues you build impressive projects for ships, yachts and industrial installations.
