We are currently looking for an Application Manager for our client, a premier catering service company supplying health-care and educational institutions. They offer customized menus, according to nutritional requirements for each target group.
As an Application Manager, you will join the team at the beautiful office in Hoofddorp. You will be responsible for application management, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of their software applications, with a focus on .NET framework and third parties applications.
Responsibilities:
Application Management:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of software applications
- Develop integration software, with a preference for experience in the .NET framework (though not mandatory)
- Ensure applications remain up-to-date, secure, and operate optimally
- Promptly troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing technical support to end-users.
Specialized Knowledge:
- Apply your deep understanding of the catering sector to address industry-specific needs.
- Leverage your familiarity with software such as Delegate from Fooditis, QuestorOnline from Twelve, and the STAFF application to enhance our tools effectively.
- Collaborate with standard Microsoft applications to seamlessly integrate them with our existing systems.
- Assist in preparing virtual environments for data analysis and tool development.
System Integration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various software systems
- Ensure compatibility and data flow between different applications and tools.
Ticketing System:
- Demonstrate proficiency in the TOPdesk ticketing system to efficiently manage and prioritize user requests.
Project Management:
- Apply basic project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor application-related projects
- Define project scopes, objectives, and time-lines.
Last but not the least Communication and Relationship Building:
- Maintain excellent communication with team members, colleagues, and end-users
- Address requests and complaints courteously and promptly
- Cultivate positive working relationships to facilitate effective teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in a role similar to Application Manager
- Strong development skills and a solid knowledge of the .NET framework
- A background in the catering sector is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Delegate software from Fooditis and QuestorOnline software from Twelve is advantageous
- Experience with staff applications and the TOPdesk ticketing system is preferred
- Basic project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytic abilities.
