FunctieomschrijvingAs an Industrial Automation Software Engineer your primary responsibility will be developing control software for the machines using low-code tools that generate PLC code from UML designs. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of digital twins (lifelike simulations) of our systems for software testing purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Translate system/customer requirements into software requirements and designs.
- Break down the system into functional modules and interfaces.
- Contribute to work breakdown, planning, and tracking activities in an agile manner.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and emerging problems in a timely manner, working collaboratively with the team.
- Develop a software test plan, execute software tests (including continuous integration and integration testing).
- Create documentation and a user manual for the developed software.
Functie-eisen- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Automation (electronic engineering, mechatronic engineering, or software development).
- Background as a PLC Software Engineer
- Experience in developing software for complex machines in production environments.
- Passion for software automation and controls.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
