About the Company: Our client is one of the largest public transport operators in the Netherlands. Their workshop in Heinenoord maintains a large fleet of diesel buses using modern diagnostic equipment and professional workshop facilities. As a Bus Mechanic in Heinenoord, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing buses used in public transportation. You will work with both conventional and modern electric vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest safety and performance standards.

Your daily tasks include:

• Performing preventive maintenance and technical inspections
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
• Repairing engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems
• Working with diagnostic equipment and technical documentation
• Troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems
• Performing safety checks and preparing vehicles for operation
• Registering completed work and reporting technical findings
• Contributing to the reliability and availability of the bus fleet

• Proven experience as a Bus Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Technician
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and pneumatic systems
• Experience with fault diagnosis using modern diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read technical manuals and electrical diagrams
• Experience carrying out preventive maintenance and major repairs on heavy vehicles
• Good command of the English language
• Valid Category D driving licence is preferred
• Category B driving licence
• Responsible, independent, and safety-conscious attitude
