About the Client

Our client is an internationally operating logistics service provider that supports companies worldwide with warehousing, order processing and distribution.
For a leading international customer, a completely new warehouse facility is being opened in Lelystad. This means you will be part of a new team from the very beginning and will help build and successfully establish the new location.

Job Description

As a Logistic Employee, you will work in a warehouse or distribution centre. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that goods are correctly received, stored, processed and shipped.
Your work will be varied. You will pick orders using a handheld scanner, check and prepare products for shipment, and assist with loading and unloading trucks and pallets. You will also check and process inventory and work with various logistics systems, such as WMS or SAP.
You will help ensure that the warehouse remains clean, organised and safe. When necessary, you will also support other departments. Depending on the location and activities, you may work with a pallet truck or electric pallet truck (EPT), and you may work in shifts.

Main Responsibilities

• Picking orders using a handheld scanner.
• Checking, packing and preparing products for shipment.
• Loading and unloading trucks and pallets.
• Checking and processing stock and inventory.
• Working with logistics systems such as WMS or SAP.
• Maintaining order, cleanliness and safety in the warehouse.
• Supporting colleagues and other departments when required.

Requirements
We are looking for someone who works accurately and is motivated. You enjoy being physically active and like working as part of a team.

• You work accurately and have an eye for detail.

• You are flexible and willing to perform different tasks when required.
• You have a basic knowledge of English.
• You are physically able to perform warehouse work.
• Experience with handheld scanners, WMS, SAP or other logistics systems is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage.
• You work safely and follow instructions and procedures carefully.
• You must be able to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) within 4 weeks. The VOG must be requested in the Netherlands.

What We Offer

• For now, working days are Monday to Friday. This may change in the future.
• Weekend work is voluntary and based on registration.
• €15.20 per hour for candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• €15.27 per hour for candidates with more than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Both 32 and 40 hours per week are possible.
• A 2-shift working schedule.
